A while ago some friends told me that I should watch
Pushing Daisies mainly because it was cute and funny and because it had Kristen Chenowith in it, who I think is pretty amazing. Then my mom watched it and told me the same thing. Then I discovered it was on Netflix Instant Streaming and got really excited!
Thanks to Netflix,
Pushing Daisies has turned out to be the TV show I watch while I make my cakes and the decorations for them. I don't know why this is, but it is. And, since I made some decorations this last weekend, I of course watched a few episodes of this awesome show (honestly, you should watch it too because it's cute, and I'm so sad it got canceled) and was reminded of how cute, handsome, and adorable the main character is:

checking out Pushing Daisies... now!
check The Fall - beautiful movie, and he's great in it. this guy really is a talented actor.
I think Pushing Daisies would be great inspiration for cake decorating--remember the episode where they BeDazzled the pigeon wing??
That was a great show. I hate when they cancel them so quickly, especially a show that was as good as Pushing Daisies. :(
Anna, I think you'd like Pushing daisies. You should definitely watch it.
Anon, I heard of that, and if it's on Netflix, I'll add it! I also know he's in the TV show Wonderfalls (another that got canceled) that I hear is humorous, so I was going to check out that one too.
Erika, you are so right! it is a great cake decorating TV show. OMG, that bedazzled pigeon wing was great. So far, though, my favorite episode has to be when they dress up as Vatican police and investigate the nun's "suicide".
Melissa, I KNOW! It was mainly because of the Writer's strike, but it makes me sad when they cancel good shows and leave ridiculous reality shows on.
Well, I wish you had told me you wanted to watch Pushing Daisies because I OWN BOTH SEASONS!! I love that show, and I have such a crush on Lee Pace. Pushing Daisies is so pleasing to me aesthetically plus I think the stories and characters are clever. Lee Pace is also in an movie called The Fall. It is incredible! Idk how you feel about this, but it's rated R. I'm still not sure why, to be honest. I think it may be violence, but it's a very fairy tale violence. That sounds crazy, but it's so good. The end.
Lauren, OMG we definitely should have discussed this! I'm not sure if the 2nd season is on Netflix, so.... we might have to have a Pushing Daisies marathon movie night. I agree, Pushing Daisies is gorgeous when it comes to set design and cinematography AND Lee Pace is adorable. :) You know how I feel about Rated R movies (ummm not totally opposed at all), so I shall be adding The Fall to my list of movies. :)
